Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 15+ team members across 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency by 15% annually
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA standards and ISO 9001 quality protocols
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize supply chain logistics
- Train and develop production staff through mentorship programs
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing supervision with automotive/industrial background
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement credentials
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Proven track record of reducing production costs while maintaining quality
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for CNC machinery
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Experience with union/non-union labor environments
