Join our award-winning manufacturing team in Detroit as a Senior Production Supervisor. Lead high-precision operations for automotive components, driving innovation in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. You'll oversee 20+ technicians, optimize production workflows, and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production schedules for 3 manufacturing lines
- Implement Kaizen initiatives reducing waste by 15%+ quarterly
- Train and mentor production staff on CNC machining processes
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations
- Coordinate with engineering teams on process optimization
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety records
- Monitor KPIs: OEE, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in automotive manufacturing supervision
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher)
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/MES systems
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and SPC methodologies
- Experience managing unionized production teams
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
