Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15-20 production staff across multiple assembly lines
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Develop and execute production schedules ensuring on-time delivery with 99% quality standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize material utilization
- Train and mentor production staff on new equipment and safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning software
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Proven track record of reducing production costs by 15%+
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with CNC machining and assembly processes preferred
