Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multi-shift production team to ensure daily output targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Optimize production workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing Lean manufacturing principles.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless material availability.
- Enforce strict adherence to ISO 9001 quality standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Monitor and report on key production metrics (KPIs) to senior management via detailed analytical dashboards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventative machine care and rapid troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and 5S methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure scenarios.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industrial compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
