Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production operations to meet and exceed KPIs, including yield, cycle time, and downtime targets.
- Champion a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous OSHA standards and conducting regular hazard assessments.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a diverse team of 30+ production technicians and leads to foster professional growth.
- Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to optimize material flow and minimize equipment downtime.
- Manage labor scheduling and resource allocation to ensure production capacity meets shifting market demands.
- Prepare and present daily performance reports to plant management, highlighting bottleneck solutions and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production bottlenecks under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and automotive industry regulations.
