Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met consistently.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a diverse team of production staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodologies across the production line.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and emergency repairs.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company quality assurance protocols.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and execute corrective action plans.
- Manage labor schedules and resource allocation to optimize costs and output.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of success in implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong technical aptitude with CNC machinery and automated assembly systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced industrial setting.
