Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for high-volume automotive component lines, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards
- Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve OEE by 15%
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ technicians in shift rotations, fostering a safety-first culture
- Coordinate with quality control teams to resolve production defects and implement corrective actions
- Optimize equipment utilization through preventive maintenance scheduling and troubleshooting
- Develop training programs to enhance technical skills and operational efficiency
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing supervision, with 3+ in automotive or precision component production
- Strong expertise in lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban) and Six Sigma principles
- Certified OSHA 30 and ISO 9001 auditor credentials preferred
- Proficient in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle) and production data analytics tools
- Proven track record of improving productivity metrics and reducing production costs
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience mentoring diverse technical teams
- Ability to work rotating shifts and maintain physical stamina for plant environment
