Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of production operators to achieve daily throughput targets.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
- Monitor production KPIs, including OEE, scrap rates, and downtime, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety standards and internal quality control protocols.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Oversee shift scheduling, staffing requirements, and resource allocation to meet production demand.
- Drive continuous improvement culture through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of Six Sigma, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize resource utilization.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with a team-first approach.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
