Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of production operators to ensure shift targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to maximize output and efficiency.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA) and quality assurance standards.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective process improvements.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime through proactive preventative maintenance.
- Foster a culture of professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma).
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to direct reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex supply chain variables.
- Demonstrated success in driving safety initiatives and maintaining zero-harm environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
