Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse team of production operators to ensure daily output targets are achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards and ensure all safety protocols are strictly enforced.
- Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and supply chain teams to minimize equipment downtime and material shortages.
- Mentor and develop floor staff to foster a culture of professional growth and high performance.
- Oversee production scheduling to maximize equipment utilization and labor efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally in automotive or aerospace.
- Proven track record of success in leading large teams and managing complex shift operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and production tracking software.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive, 'hands-on' approach to floor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
