Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily production activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals and maximize efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control standards and implement corrective actions to minimize defects.
- Process Optimization: Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team through performance reviews and training.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a zero-accident culture by enforcing OSHA safety regulations and conducting regular audits.
- Inventory Control: Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to senior leadership.
