Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring alignment with quality standards and safety protocols
- Optimize manufacturing workflows to reduce costs and improve output efficiency by 20% annually
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, and quality assurance
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage inventory control, supply chain logistics, and vendor relationships
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet client deadlines
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in manufacturing leadership with 3+ years in management roles
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in production data interpretation
- OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of industrial safety protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
