Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3 manufacturing lines, ensuring output meets quality standards and delivery timelines
- Implement and optimize lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency by 15% annually
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies and Kaizen events
- Manage inventory control systems and material flow to minimize holding costs
- Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules aligned with customer demand forecasts
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process innovations and equipment upgrades
- Mentor production supervisors and develop talent pipeline for operational roles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in progressive manufacturing leadership roles
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred)
- Strong background in automotive or precision component manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems and production planning software
- OSHA 30-hour certification and safety management experience
- Excellent analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams of 20+ personnel
