Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3 manufacturing lines
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to reduce waste by 15%
- Manage inventory control and supply chain logistics
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies
- Coordinate with engineering teams for process optimization
- Maintain quality control systems and product specifications
- Prepare production reports and KPI dashboards for executive review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in production management within automotive manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
- Proven experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of JIT, Kanban, and 5S methodologies
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional team management skills
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Experience scaling operations in high-volume manufacturing environments
