Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3 manufacturing lines (50+ employees)
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Develop and execute strategic production plans aligned with sales forecasts
- Ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001 and OSHA safety standards
- Lead continuous improvement projects targeting 15% annual cost reduction
- Manage inventory control and supply chain coordination
- Mentor production supervisors and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 8+ years in manufacturing management with automotive industry experience
- Proven track record of implementing Lean/continuous improvement programs
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- OSHA 30-hour and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications required
- Experience managing unionized workforce (UAW preferred)
