Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive production schedules to meet company goals and maximize efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor production staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor output quality in real-time, implement corrective actions to reduce waste, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Cost Management: Analyze operational costs and supply chain logistics to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
- Process Improvement: Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance productivity.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in manufacturing production management, preferably in a high-volume or automated environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is strongly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
