Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across 3 manufacturing lines with 99%+ uptime
- Implement Kaizen principles and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste by 15% annually
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize supply chain logistics for JIT delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives and safety compliance
- Develop annual production budgets and maintain cost controls within 5% variance
- Coordinate with quality assurance to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification standards
- Train and mentor production supervisors on advanced manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in production management within automotive/precision manufacturing
- Lean Manufacturing certification and Six Sigma Black Belt credentials
- Expertise in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of reducing production costs while improving quality metrics
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of MIOSHA regulations
