Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production of 500+ automotive components ensuring 99.8% quality adherence
- Implement Kaizen events to reduce waste by 15% quarterly
- Manage 25-person union/non-union workforce with OSHA VPP compliance
- Coordinate with R&D on new product launches for Tier 1 automotive partners
- Analyze KPIs (OEE, FTT, DPMO) using SAP/Oracle systems
- Develop $2.5M annual capital equipment budgets
- Drive continuous improvement through Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 8+ years in automotive manufacturing leadership
- ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt required
- Proven experience with union contract negotiations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/MES systems
- OSHA 30-hour and VPP certification
- Lean Manufacturing (Toyota Production System) mastery
- Strong analytical skills with Power BI/Tableau expertise
