Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production schedules and quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Team Management: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Resource Allocation: Manage inventory levels, machinery maintenance schedules, and budget forecasting.
- Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards (OSHA, ISO).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in production management, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and production planning software.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
