Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure output targets are met within budget and quality standards.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and optimize workflow.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and production staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and material flow.
- Analyze production metrics (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the R&D department to facilitate the seamless introduction of new product lines (NPI).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and cross-functional departments.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and manufacturing data analytics.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead through complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost-reduction initiatives.
