Responsibilities
- Strategic oversight of daily production operations across 3 assembly lines
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Kanban)
- Manage inventory control systems to achieve 98% on-time delivery rate
- Develop and execute predictive maintenance schedules for CNC machinery
- Lead continuous improvement projects targeting 15% annual cost reduction
- Ensure OSHA compliance and foster zero-incident safety culture
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype new automotive components
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum 8 years progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
- Expertise in ERP/MES systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Proven track record in automotive or precision manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and robotic automation
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Experience with unionized workforce negotiations
