Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for high-precision aerospace components
- Lead Kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve OEE by 15%+
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype new production techniques and material applications
- Develop and maintain production documentation, SOPs, and quality control protocols
- Manage cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, and production staff
- Analyze production data using MES systems to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and industry safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (MS preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in precision manufacturing environments
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt required
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MES systems
- Demonstrated success in reducing production costs and improving quality metrics
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, injection molding, and metal fabrication processes
- Experience with automation integration and robotics programming
