Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize production workflows using Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen events)
- Develop SOPs and training materials for assembly line operators
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with R&D on new product introduction (NPI) processes
- Manage capital equipment projects from conception to commissioning
- Ensure OSHA and ISO 9001 compliance across all production areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years in manufacturing engineering with automotive background
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MES systems
- Proven track record of reducing cycle times by 20%+
- Experience with robotic automation integration
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification
- Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent
