Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations for 3 automated assembly lines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste by 15% quarterly
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies
- Train and mentor production teams on new equipment and processes
- Collaborate with quality control on ISO 9001 compliance
- Optimize production schedules to meet automotive industry deadlines
- Manage equipment maintenance and capital improvement projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years in automotive manufacturing leadership
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software and PLC programming
- Strong analytical skills with production data interpretation
- OSHA 30-hour training certification
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP preferred)
- Proven track record of reducing production costs
