Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize production processes using CAD/CAM and simulation tools
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma) to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Oversee automated production lines including PLC programming and robotic systems
- Develop and maintain manufacturing SOPs and quality control protocols
- Manage capital equipment projects from conception through installation
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff on manufacturing best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in production/manufacturing engineering
- Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLC programming
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with CNC machinery and robotic automation systems
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
