Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) projects
- Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions and quality control standards
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Manage capital equipment projects from conception through installation
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing leadership
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and ERP systems
- Experience with automated production lines and robotics integration
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
