Responsibilities
- Lead process optimization initiatives for high-volume automotive component production
- Design and implement automated assembly line solutions using PLC systems
- Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain production documentation including SOPs and control plans
- Mentor junior engineers on lean manufacturing principles and quality standards
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate new technologies into production workflows
- Manage KPI tracking and reporting for production efficiency metrics
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment reliability improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing environments
- Expertise in lean manufacturing (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred)
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and MES systems
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S)
- Advanced problem-solving skills with statistical analysis tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to work rotating shifts
