Responsibilities
- Optimize production workflows using Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and increase output efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for automated assembly lines and robotic systems
- Develop and implement quality control protocols ensuring ISO 9001 compliance
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype new manufacturing processes and equipment
- Manage production schedules and resource allocation for high-volume manufacturing
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on technical best practices
- Analyze production data using MES systems to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering or production management
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and PLC programming (Siemens/Rockwell)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial regulations
- Experience with automated assembly systems and robotic integration
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving production improvements
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
