Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key vendors to ensure reliability and quality.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead high-stakes negotiations to secure favorable contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market data and internal spend to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve profit margins.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to corporate governance, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management within a multinational environment.
- Credentials: CIPS Level 5 or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
- Analysis: Proven ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities in English, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
