Responsibilities
- Strategic Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet business needs, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Negotiation: Lead high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the procurement landscape.
- Cost Optimization: Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and sourcing strategies that drive profitability.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement workflows and implement best practices to increase operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from conception to completion.
