Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) and improve supply chain resilience.
- Lead end-to-end procurement cycles, from identifying potential vendors and negotiating contracts to managing performance and renewals.
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing models to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for negotiation and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams to ensure procurement aligns with business goals.
- Oversee the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Forecast future demand and adjust procurement plans accordingly to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Ariba) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for supplier visits as needed.
