Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive procurement and strategic sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate complex contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure optimal value and mitigate risk.
- Conduct thorough market research and analyze industry trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative supply sources.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and engineering, to forecast demand and align purchasing initiatives.
- Manage and maintain accurate procurement records within ERP systems, ensuring data integrity for reporting and audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or strategic sourcing.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and category management.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing ERP and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is highly preferred.
