Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to support company-wide operational needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and select high-quality suppliers through rigorous market research and competitive bidding.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to maximize value.
- Manage the entire supplier lifecycle, from onboarding and performance monitoring to conflict resolution.
- Analyze market trends and internal spend data to recommend process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and engineering, to ensure alignment on material requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a strong plus.
