Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from market analysis and supplier selection to negotiation and contract awarding.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure service quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with vendors, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements; prepare monthly performance reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or procurement operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software. Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Certifications: CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
