Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet business objectives while reducing total cost of ownership.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure high-quality standards and reliability.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and competitor activities to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to forecast demand and prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional projects to streamline procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving significant cost savings targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of local and international trade regulations and compliance standards.
