Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with corporate goals and drive cost reduction.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from requirement analysis and sourcing to supplier onboarding and contract management.
- Conduct rigorous market research and supplier analysis to identify new opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with existing and new suppliers.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure purchasing activities support sales, production, and operational objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with UK and EU procurement regulations and internal governance policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Ariba) and procurement software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to analyze market trends and implement data-driven sourcing strategies.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification is a distinct advantage.
