Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that align with business goals.
- Execute complex negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance metrics to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, including RFQs, contract management, and purchase order processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, R&D) to ensure timely delivery of critical materials.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier database and manage key vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation with a track record of achieving cost savings targets.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and market reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
