Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement cycles, from identifying market trends to negotiating and executing high-impact contracts with global vendors.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Cultivate strong, long-term partnerships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and innovation.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market data and leverage buying power to drive significant cost savings and margin improvements across the organization.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry benchmarks and emerging technologies to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and favorable terms with suppliers.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software tools.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- CIPS Certification: CIPS Level 4 or higher is highly desirable.
