Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet business requirements while optimizing total cost of ownership.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and risk assessments.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging technologies in the supply chain.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Process Improvement: Streamline procurement workflows and implement ERP system enhancements to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA is highly preferred.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor relationship management.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.
- Certifications: CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification is a plus.
