Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that align with Apex Global’s quality and cost objectives.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, conducting regular performance reviews and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze market trends and internal data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
- Procurement Operations: Oversee the purchasing process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with logistics teams to monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and forecast trends.
