Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best possible value and quality.
- Manage the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, from onboarding to performance evaluation.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Engineering) to forecast demand and plan inventory.
- Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, including cost savings, lead times, and supplier compliance.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields.
- Strong track record of successful contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Relevant degree (Bachelor’s) in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of UK and EU procurement regulations is highly desirable.
