Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business goals to maximize value.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
- Monitor market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Lead supplier performance evaluations and manage vendor relationships to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze purchasing data to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless supply delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus but not mandatory.
