We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to drive our strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize our supply chain operations. Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from identifying sourcing opportunities to executing contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
- Negotiation: Execute high-stakes negotiations on pricing, terms, and service level agreements to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Market Analysis: Conduct deep market research and analysis to identify trends, emerging suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Streamline procurement workflows and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Engineering) to understand requirements and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
- Cost Control: Monitor expenditures, manage budgets, and implement strategies to reduce overall procurement costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and procurement software.
- Certifications: CIPS Level 4 or higher (or equivalent professional certification) is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and data-driven decision-making.
