Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying market opportunities to negotiating contracts with high-value vendors.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and favorable payment terms.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze market trends and internal data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with the logistics team to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels, reducing stockouts and overstock scenarios.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Market Analysis: Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and suppliers to keep the organization ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles within a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to executive leadership.
