Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to optimize spend across direct and indirect materials.
- Lead complex, multi-million dollar negotiations with key global suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Establish and track vendor KPIs, conducting regular business reviews to ensure peak supplier performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams in Finance, Operations, and Legal to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze global market trends, commodity fluctuations, and internal purchasing data to forecast inventory needs.
- Champion the continuous improvement of procurement processes, leveraging advanced ERP and e-sourcing tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or contract negotiation.
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost-savings through strategic vendor management.
- Advanced proficiency with modern ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics 365) and data visualization tools.
- CPSM, CPM, or APICS certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
