Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct comprehensive supplier performance evaluations, contract negotiations, and cost-benefit analysis to secure optimal terms and value.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers globally, fostering strong, sustainable relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support project needs and achieve departmental goals.
- Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive monitoring, contingency planning, and market intelligence.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, savings achieved, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in strategic procurement or sourcing, preferably within a fast-paced, global organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work effectively under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade, incoterms, and supply chain best practices.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
