Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, conducting market analysis, supplier identification, and qualification to secure optimal terms and conditions.
- Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, quality, delivery, and service levels in alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and manage strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or operational efficiency.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Engineering, and Finance to understand their needs and align procurement strategies.
- Monitor supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in procurement, including sustainable sourcing and risk management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and achieving significant cost reductions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or C.P.M. is highly desirable.
