Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies that align with business goals and market dynamics.
- Lead complex negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage the entire supplier lifecycle, from selection and onboarding to performance evaluation and risk mitigation.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and benchmarking to identify new opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process, leveraging best practices and technology.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and support for procurement strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, ethical standards, and relevant industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CIPS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic procurement, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise in category management, spend analysis, and advanced negotiation techniques.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics, import/export regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
