Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from requirement analysis to vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of vendors, ensuring performance reviews and quality compliance.
- Develop and maintain strategic sourcing plans aligned with company objectives and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Legal) to resolve supply chain issues.
- Analyze spending data to forecast trends and optimize inventory levels.
- Implement and monitor procurement systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- CIPS or CPSM certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
