Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying suppliers to final contract execution, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating favorable terms to drive cost savings and service improvements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments to forecast procurement needs accurately.
- Contract Negotiation: Draft and negotiate complex contracts, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risk for the organization.
- Cost Reduction: Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to internal policies, ethical standards, and external regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making and cost analysis.
- Certifications: CPSM, CPM, or PMP certification is a strong plus.
